Dreadful - avoid like the plague

Paid £23.99 to download Game of Thrones. It's unwatchable due to repeated buffering and, even when it does briefly play, is well below the HD standard paid for.
Despite Netflix and Amazon working fine, and my consistent 10mb+ broadband connection, their technical support claim the problem lies with me... despite the streams of evidence on this and other review sites that their service is non-functional.
At the time of writing, they have essentially stolen my money. No better than a fly by night market stall offering knock off DVDs with goodness knows what actually on the disks. I'm amazed that a legitimate company like Tesco would be associated with this.
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

How dare they take my money and then not give me the files!!!!
I used this service for one reason - Psychobitches - it's not on DVD, I don't have Sky etc... so this was the only way to see it.
I'm not happy that I had to given them even one star - the rating system here should allow for no stars
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

Bad quality, looks likes a ripped off DVD! Buffering every 5 mins so I just gave up. Stick to Netflix they clearly know what they're doing.

Terrible customer service.

Was great until we bought/rented a few things and while it took our money, didn't work. Just said "Unexpected Error". There is no number to call customer service and the email service is a joke. You report it and they tell you that they "we are aware of "an unexpected error has occurred" and "your problem has been deemed solved". While it still doesn't work, the only advice they give you is that their engineers are working on the problem and to check the website for updates". There is no one you can speak to, no way of complaining or even getting your money back
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

Utter crap.

Do not waste your money! Stops every 5 minutes then eventually stops the movie all together so you have to start all over again!! If your renting and it kicks you off twice you then cannot finish watching it!
Rip off being charged for movies you can't watch!
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

Waste of time

Utterly useless. Can't watch a film without it stopping every few minutes. Image quality is also poor. Simply not fit for purpose so I don't care if the software, navigation or support is any good it's irrelevant.
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

Registering with Blinkbox

I have just spent an hour trying to register with Blinkbox and to register a £5 moviecard purchased from Tesco. It has been an unhappy process - the actual registration took four attempts (the only page that was working correctly was the one which took my bank details!!) Having finally after 45mins managed to sign up, I was unable to register the moviecard. I was told to report error code B001 to customer services - but after 15 minutes of searching I found no results for customer services! How frustrating - I'm sure I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, but I imagine there's got to be a better way than this, for the average person trying to sign up and put credit on the account!
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

Blinkbox Excellent Streaming

I've got just a standard broadband (Microsof P.C.) (8.5 megab. speed at 6 pm -> busy time) and the quality of picture and the sound is superb. Blinkbox is a pay as you go service, so you do not need to be forced to watch movies if you haven't got time.
H.D. streaming is a little more expensive but as I said the standard service is superb.
Blinkbox is a winner.
In summary, I would recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

Blockbusters all is forgiven.......

Quality not great seems like HD /digital is going backwards.... Wish I d of used blockbusters more now. Bad quality, digital data, DRM, limited on which device can watch on.. Come on is the industry that paranoid about copyright??? Keep it up, can only be a good thing... People will start looking for other forms of entainment. Dare I say even outside.
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.

Don't waste your money

If you want to sit at your pc and watch movies OK. If you have a smart tv and a good Wi-Fi signal OK, but if like me you want to buy films to watch when your on holiday abroad then forget it. You can't download to a portable device and you can't transfer from a pc to a portable device. And even if you are outside the UK and have a good signal you can't watch the films you have paid for.
I wasted money on 5 films that I can only watch at home on my pc
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.
