This is simply broken. Tried to use this to play a popular movie on a wednesday night at about 8PM. I have speeds of about 7Mb and all my software is up to date. Tried 1st on my LG smart TV - Buffering constantly. Then moved to my Xbox... buffering constantly. I then tried my PC for the fool proof streaming method. it forced me to install silverlight... Ok, a bit unneccessary for basic streaming - but fine. Then After faffing about it says we can't play this movie - your video player is not repsponding!! You chose it Blink box! you made me use it and install silverlight. So... I tried their support... and wow ... just wow... 'try using another internet browser and restarting your internet ... 'problem resloved'. My MOM could have told me that! As you can tell it still didn't solve the problem and I have to go back into the que to tell them I'm not an imbecile... (having said that why am I queing if I'm not stupid enough to try again!). Stay away - no good, they have not mastered streaming technology - which is pretty poor for a media streaming company!
In summary, I would not recommend BlinkBox to a friend.
