I don't usually write reviews on anything but after reading all these negative reviews about Blinkbox I was quite shocked and thought I needed to say my piece!
I have been using Blinkbox for the last 1 1/2 - 2 years and have never experienced a single problem with playback and I use it every month! They have a huge selection of films to choose from, from old titles up to some of the most recent. They have some decent promotions running including "Movie Mondays" which although are not always the greatest selection, they quite often have a great pick. All these People complaining of poor streaming and not worth a pound, I think you need to look at your internet connections and computer specs before pointing fingers. I personally run the Xbox 360 app on a BT Wireless connection and have been happy since I started using the service.
I can't comment on customer service as I have never needed to contact them, although I would hope if I ever needed to contact them I wouldn't run into any problems.
Might I add that its not a subscription service, so there are no contracts or minimum spend, try a 99p movie and see what you think before you listen to negative reviews on here. I don't think you will be disappointed.
In summary, I would recommend BlinkBox to a friend.
